The Kogi State College of Education (Technical) Kabba was founded by the administration of His Excellency Asiwaju Clarence Olafemi as Acting Governor in April, 2010 after which a bill for it establishment was pass by the Kogi State House of Assembly and signed into law by His Excellence Alh (Dr.) Ibrahim Idris; The then Executive Governor of Kogi State and granted approval by National Commission for Colleges of Education ,(NCCE) Abuja to run full Nigeria certificate in education (NCE), Technical programmes with effect from 2012/2013 academic session…

i. Provide qualitative teaching, learning and research environment for students and staff to realize their full potentials in life
ii. Produce graduates that are fully-equipped with knowledge and skill in contemporary pedagogical insights to make outstanding success in their chosen profession

Our Mission
To develop a functional and sustainable Teachers, Technical and Vocational Education programme for kogi state and Nigerians where student can acquire entrepreneurship skills, knowledge and attitude relevant to the present and future economic needs of kogi state in particuler and Nigeria general.
Our Vision
To prove dynamic and adequate institutional and learning resources (human and materials) for a function and sustainable Teachers Technical and Vocational Programme relevant to present and future economic need of kogi state in particular and Nigeria in general.
